Baby N: Delivered

My dear friend from college welcomed her second baby boy into the world. She didn't know if it was a girl or boy before he was born so it was tricky trying to plan for this shoot. I have a lot of things for girls - so when she told me it was a boy - I hit the ground running - blue props and backdrops!

 Big brother and Daddy to baby "N" are into the sports scene. Baby "N's" room is decorated with sports. This is daddy's mit and the shot that took over 20 minutes to nail...

Eeek! this is my favorite from this session. Is he A*DORABLE or what!!!???

OK, I know you're wondering just how an orange object made it into one of my shoots? I couldn't resist this one. I even ordered a pumpkin knit hat from a store on Etsy (along with a few other hats).

I was thrilled to get to use my vintage Hanson baby scale - a lucky charm in a local antique store. I had lost a few aucions for one on Ebay. When I saw it locally (for less), I was so excited!! This is also one of the new backdrops I found. The tag reads "delivered 08.19.09" - his birthday. Momma kept it for his baby book. 

And this was his mommy's lucky find at a garage sale. Daddy didn't know why on earth they needed it... UNTIL I SAW IT;) The chair was 5 bucks! **heart**

Momma wanted a close up of his face. She also told me that she didn't have any baskets cool enough for a photo shoot. HA! I saw this basket in the bathroom! I snagged it and made a cozy nest for "N". He must have slept for 15 minutes in this;)

Ok, now I have a tie for my personal favorite. This is big brother "M", holding his brand new little bro.

Momma showed this hat to me and I couldn't resist. He was sound asleep (still)...

Some fun stuff... I haven't digi scrapped all summer... this made me miss it a wee bit;)
