Behind the lens, you'll find this artist, Jill C. Deckard... also known as the Cre8tive Warrior.

Jill's penchant for photography began when she was handed her father's Nikon nearly 20 years ago. She was one of the lead photograhers on the high school yearbook staff, which sparked an interest to take this newfound hobby to college. Jill earned a BFA in graphic design and three years post undergrad, a Master's degree in Photography. These two degrees collide nicely for what she does for a living (in addition to raising twins!!!)... shoots & cre-8's!

Early in Jill's career she began working at Eastman Kodak Company. At Kodak, Jill was an Account Executive that supported professional photographers, large commercial photo labs, and retail photo labs. Jill launched her digital imaging career at Konica Photo Imaging where she was an Account Executive managing a large Midwest territory of digital mini labs and distributors.

In 2003, she re-opened her freelancing business she started in graduate school: Cre8tive Photography.

STYLE

Jill is mostly an on-location photographer. She does share a studio in downtown Lafayette, IN with a fellow (extremely talented) wedding photographer. Her style is simple, fun and energetic. Her photo sessions are relaxed, personal and a wee bit zany! She knows you come to her for  fresh ideas and creativity, and that's just what you are going to get!
