Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1:47PM I caved and did a Christmas photo shoot for my new friends/neighbors. I had a lot of fun shooting and editing but was quickly reminded WHY I DON'T take on additional projects anymore. I simply don't have the time to spare.
We had a pretty good chuckle when the boys attempted to JUMP. They were like solid rocks and couldn't get any air! The girls on the other hand...

I made a digi background for them and for us - incorporating our last names...

Friday, July 22, 2011 at 8:42AM I shot these on June 11th. Yes, they are JUST NOW DONE! I used magnet templates on Tiny Prints.com to make these. I ordered the "sisters" magnets - I know everyone's been waiting for new ones! The damask backdrop is all digital - and by request... A PURPLE ONE!

Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 9:40AM Valentine's Day pictures with our very BFF in the whole world!! This was a playdate pizza party with these three tots and parents.

Monday, December 27, 2010 at 12:41AM This was attempt #1 of taking our family Christmas photo the day after Thanksgiving. I had an element of surprise in my bag of tricks to aid in the dutiful toddler photo shoot. The girls' dresses were "Dollie and Me" - there was a dress exactly like theirs for a doll. I didn't dare show them until they were all dolled up and standing on the backdrop. Ha! it backfired. They were not the slightest bit interested in the Fancy Nancy dolls that looked exactly like them. They wouldn't step A FOOT on the backdrop... even with AJ coaxing them. Sooooo, AJ and I showed them just how cool it was to get Christmas photos taken...

THIS is photo shoot attempt #3. Yes, I got the girls all dolled up THREE DIFFERENT TIMES to take Christmas pictures. Little stinkers sure did stress me out to the max! On the morning of St. Nick's day, presents piled high at the front door in their shoes, Margaret and I decided to give it another "shot" and use the gifts as bait! I didn't let them open any gifts UNTIL they had their pictures taken... ACCEPTABLE pictures to boot;)
After breakfast, once again, dressed them up and attacked with a new plan... DIVIDE AND CONQUER. Margaret kept one girl upstairs while the other was down in the studio. Worked like a charm - dangling chocolate and unopened gifts in front of them;) hee hee The images I captured were worth every (black-mailing) cent!! The red looks incredible on metallic paper!

And some fun stuff...

Our card!

Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10:00AM Yes, there is a lot of dust on my trusty ole Nikon! Never thought that would happen, eh? I want to thank all the folks that have been trying to hire me for photo sessions. I am not currently taking any new projects. This photo session was a gift for a great friend... Congratulations to the "S" family on your new addition. She's just as precious as can be! I really looked forward to this project and I'm so happy she's finally here!
The big sis...

The announcement...

Monday, January 11, 2010 at 9:59AM This photo shoot was by far the MOST HILARIOUS session I've ever had in the studio. This was an inpromptu get-together to send off one of our good buddies who has since moved out west (where the wind comes sweeping down the plains). Let's just say we had some wine - a wee bit MORE wine - and then gut-busting idiotic giggles. I love you guys...

Hair-raising laughter too! And no, we did not drop out of the ceiling...

I'm the only other person known to drink while working with no shoes on
(name the other person... Jimmy Buffett).

And here's where the "more wine" came in...

And then we did an advertisement for GAP...

You KNOW we jumped!!!

One of us mentioned we needed some props (besides the balloon glasses of wine). So we decided to do a theme... pigtails and pillows. This is why we all have piggy tails and then started throwing pillows at each other. So so hilarious!

Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 7:40AM This little cutie makes only her second debut in front of a pro cam, according to her mommy (yes indeedy I am thinking... for shame! for shame! lol). Yes, it's quite an onerous task trying to capture "decent" images of tots, no doubt.
Again, my occupation makes me feel like a robber. I'm taking money from people when I feel I haven't even lifted a finger. I'm simply capturing the moment, no matter what the moment. I'm stealing (like a robber) smiles left and right from this one! They may have only appeared for 1/125th of a second, but still, I got 'em! Relax mommy... mission accomplished... and here's proof(s):

This was a card option. As soon as I came across the caption, I thought it was peeerrrrrrrfect for this image! These digital elements can be found at Shabby Miss Jenn Designs and Weeds and Wildflowers Design.

Don't you just love a bit dance time from a little girl? Awe!
No music. All personality!
